ACADEMIC POSTERS

Combatting Censorship in Libraries: The Role of Case Law and Precedent in Defending Intellectual Freedom

I initially developed this poster as a research project for my ILS 622 course, but ended up developing it further into a research paper that I presented at the 2025 ASIS&T Annual Conference in Washington, DC.

Engaging a Post-Pandemic World: The Changing Relationships of NFPs/NGOs With Technology

I developed this poster as a small research study for my ILS 522 course in Social Informatics. After some research, I felt that there was a gap in scholarship surrounding the impact of COVID on NFPs and NGOs, so I sought to fill that gap with this study.

This video essay is a project that I completed for my Digital Humanities course while working on my graduate degree. TECHNICAL WRITING

Grant Writing – LIS 591 Preservica Grant

I authored this sample grant for my Grant Writing in Libraries course in the Summer of 2024. I chose the Preservica Digital Preservation software for this grant, as I am invested in the continued development of archival spaces. In particular, I saw this grant as an opportunity to further assess how the Archive can maintain relevancy in the digital age.

Budget Proposal – ILS 550 Budget Project

I authored this budget proposal with the aid of my peers for my Information Institutions and Management course in the Spring of 2025. This assignment required us to assess and reallocate funding for the entire New Orleans Public Library System following Hurricane Katrina according to information provided to us in a case study document. From here, we were tasked with utilizing the Alvar Street Branch of the public library system as a model for the repair and renovation of the damages sustained in the disaster.
